This photo was taken at the Columbia Winery in the State of Washington in late September.

Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007-2015 hostage on their site and have replaced my photos with black and grey boxes of ugliness. Iām slowly deleting those boxes from my blog and trying to update so many posts, very frustrating.
I can almost feel the sunshine š I lived in Seattle for 8 years, and weather like that doesn’t come often!
Don’t know what flower that is but it sure looks wonderful! So does the weather. š
It looks like some kind of lupine to me, but than I’m famous for not being a botanist!
This is so lovely and summerly picture! Great!
What a gorgeous photo the weather looks goregous from the photo! Very nice caputre!
Beautiful Penstemons against the light, they look so delicate.
They are a lovely delicate colour with the light shining through them! You got a great photo to share!
Very nice caputre!
It’s very pretty! I think the stem is unusual looking.
Looks like obedient plant to me, also called false dragonhead. Physostegia virginiana is it’s Latin name. It’s a wildflower here in Ontario, though I see it more often in cottage gardens than in the wild. LOL
Nice photo!
Hi Ellen,
This is a beautiful blossom and I love the light you’ve captured in the photo!

That is beautiful! I like the green border too;)
Wonderful picture..
The Physostegia virginiana, Obedient Plant or False Dragonhead is a herbaceous perennial plant. Loved by insects and Hummingbirds.
Great wildflower for the garden.
– Cheers.
Lovely shot of the flower š
I’ve joined Today Flowers for the first time today on my blogspot š
That is a beautiful shot!! I love the sunny light in the picture!
Wonderful light, super photo. I live in Seattle so photos of sunshine are always so welcome. Great post for Flowers for Today.
Hello, Have a nice week ahead!!!
I like how you’ve taken this…. I feel child-sized looking through the flowers again…. I recall being small and longing to be taller to see more… now I long to be small and care free again.. .. what thoughts ones pictures can bring to our minds.
