Today’s Flowers #11

This photo was taken at the Columbia Winery in the State of Washington in late September.

Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007-2015 hostage on their site and have replaced my photos with black and grey boxes of ugliness. I’m slowly deleting those boxes from my blog and trying to update so many posts, very frustrating.

  1. Looks like obedient plant to me, also called false dragonhead. Physostegia virginiana is it’s Latin name. It’s a wildflower here in Ontario, though I see it more often in cottage gardens than in the wild. LOL

    Nice photo!

  2. Wonderful picture..
The Physostegia virginiana, Obedient Plant or False Dragonhead is a herbaceous perennial plant. Loved by insects and Hummingbirds.
    Great wildflower for the garden.
    – Cheers.

  3. I like how you’ve taken this…. I feel child-sized looking through the flowers again…. I recall being small and longing to be taller to see more… now I long to be small and care free again.. .. what thoughts ones pictures can bring to our minds.
