It’s Time for Pink Saturday again…
On my trip to the Seattle area last weekend I went shopping with my sister at our favorite thrift store, Goodwill in Bellevue. I spotted eight Churchill saucers and was hoping there were cups to match somewhere. I turned around and there they were 8 cups to go with the 8 saucers and a sugar bowl, too! The saucers were $.99 cents each and the cups were $1.49. Whoohoo!
For more Pink visit our fabulous hostess Beverly at How Sweet the Sound.
Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007-2015 hostage on their site. All my photos that I stored and uploaded from that site are now big ugly black and grey boxes with a message to pay big bucks to get them restored to my blog. It will take me a long time to restore thousands of posts.
Happy Pink Saturday!
Beautiful PINK cups and saucers!

Bonjour ‘ellen b!’
In response to your question about restaurants, the PREMIER restaurant destination in the Bay Area is Chez Panisse in Berkeley.
A fun, very good and moderately expensive place is at the California Culinary Academy. Chefs-in-training will prepare your meal.
One with a very picturesque location is the Cliff House. It is at Ocean Beach in San Francisco, so you dine with a view of the Pacific. Be warned that the prices match the location…
They Bay Area abounds in restaurants, many of them quite good, especially in San Francisco. If there is a particular type of cuisine you favor, let me know and I’ll focus on that type of restaurant.
What a fantastic bargain those teacups and saucers were. You are so lucky!! They are just beautiful.
You must have skipped with joy on your way out of the store 🙂
Happy Pink Saturday!!

These are especially pretty! I wonder how you store your pretty china? Are you able to display the pieces or do you have lots of cupboard space? You do have some very nice sets.
And talk about Goodwill! What is the deal with the great stuff in Washington?

I got here from Kim’s pie crust post and when I saw your header I thought, “wow that looks like Conwy castle”. Just curious, I took a look at your image title. It is Conwy! Wow, do I feel cool. ;0
