Anthony’s Lingonberry Slump

Dear and I split this wonderful Washington Lingonberry Slump at the Anthony’s at Seatac Airport on Monday night. So you can probably guess now why I went up a jean size :0)

Here’s a recipe I found online for a berry slump in case you want to try it from RecipeZaar.

Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007-2015 hostage on their site. All my photos that I stored and uploaded from that site are now big ugly black and grey boxes with a message to pay big bucks to get them restored to my blog. It will take me a long time to restore thousands of posts.

  1. Wow, does that ever look good! Our Sweedish exchange student used to ask for Lingonberry’s, and I had never heard of them back then.

  2. Ellen, this looks good….but…… how many pots and pans need to be cleaned up after? Jeanie just made your ckicken crock pot ranch and it was good, however the cleanup reminded me of Thanksgiving. The only reason I bring this up is that our agreement usually is that cooker doesn’t have to cleanup leaving the eater (me) with the cleanup.. Thats fair and I don’t mind but could you please post things that are one pot or less. Love ur cuz

Jim! I feel your pain. I cook and do the clean-up. I’ll consider your request. Just sing the song “make me a servant” as you toil away with those pots and pans. It will make the job go easier! :0)

  3. ok, I read the recipe but I still don’t understand it.

    is it a cobbler?

or a upside down cake topped with berries?

I’m lost and what are those berries anyway??
I KNOW! I just need to come and visit you someday (when I have money for a ticket haha) and go with you to all these yummy restaruants!!

  4. Oh Ellen, the slump looks like it as worthwhile .. .good thing we can shrink too .. you seem to be picking the perfect time to head south. Good job on the planning.
