Vintage Thingies Thursdays ~ Turquoise

This week for Vintage Thingies Thursday I’m sharing some of my vintage that happens to be turquoise in color.

These bathroom accessories are from my MIL Verna’s stash. She passed away in 1997 and had lived with us for several years so we got a lot of her stuff by default.

This little lady was hers, too. Verna grew up in the U.S.A. and was a teacher in a one room schoolhouse in Kansas in the late 30’s.

Photobucket is holding all my photos that I posted on my blog from 2007-2015 hostage and replaced them with big black and grey boxes with threats. So discouraging…as I’m slowly trying to clean up thousands of posts!

About Ellen am a wife, mother, baba (grandmother) and a loyal friend. Jesus is my King and my hope is in my future with Him.

  1. We had glasses with this same design. I think we got them for our wedding in 1958. Brings back old memories.
The picture of me at the beach was taken at Seal Beach I think. It has been a long time ago but i’m pretty sure that is where it was taken.

  2. I enjoyed everything you shared, but I particulary like the cute little figurine. It reminds me of going into my Aunts bedroom. She had cute stuff like that on her dresser.

  3. Love the little lady and those jars. Great colors and they’re in wonderful shape! Glad you’re using and enjoying them.
