In youth from rock to rock I went,
From hill to hill in discontent
Of pleasure high and turbulent,
Most pleased when most uneasy;
But now my own delights I make, –
My thirst at every rill can slake,
And gladly Nature’s love partake
Of Thee, sweet Daisy! ….
~ William Wordsworth

Sunnyside up! Beautiful, Ellen.
That is a very nice daisy photo Ellen. I was busy photographing daisy’s on the weekend myself. It always makes me smile to think that bloggers everywhere are after the perfect photo.
The poem is a delight as well.
Hi Ellen: From Daisies to Daffodils…I love Wordsworth. And here in my summer abode at the foothills of the Rockies, I long for a poetic expression but nothing comes to mind. Thanks for reminding me of one of my favorite nature poets.
I so enjoy daisies myself and your photo is especially nice. Look at what I found this morning…..
