Set the Tea Table ~ Vintage Blue

Photobucket is holding all my photos from 2007-2015 hostage and they have blacked them all out. I’m slowly working at restoring my posts without their help. Such a tiresome bother!

“American-style iced tea is the perfect drink for a hot, sunny day. It’s never really caught on in the UK, probably because the last time we had a hot, sunny day was back in 1957.”

  1. So pretty! I love the little paper doily wrapped teabag favor. What a great idea!

Love the bookshelves in the background, too. :>

  2. Ellen, I love your style! It was such fun looking at your beautiful tea table! My first thought was — ‘Oh, the tablecloth!’. It goes with your Johnson Brothers china so well. Elegant, inviting, soothing, welcoming — everything is simply charming and oh so pretty! I love the little tea bag holder — and the pretty napkin ring.

Tipping my teacup to you! Great job!

  3. What a lovely post. You have so many pretty things. I love the napkin and napkin rings. Your dishes are very beautiful as well as those special little teabag holders. Did you make them? So pretty.

  4. Hi Ellen,

That’s simply gorgeous. I love how your tablecloth sets everything off!!! 🙂

Your Johnson Bros dishes made me re-think my decision of not purchasing the JB plates at a shop yesterday…

  5. Oh, my goodness, everything is absolutely charming, Ellen. The colors, the china, linens, the room…all beautiful. I LOVE the tea bag cozy. I might just have to borrow that lovely idea! Such a great post!…Kathy
