When I was at the San Buenaventura Mission last Monday I took this photo of a wooden bell that was in the museum. You can see more of my photos from the mission here.

Wow, I’d never have thought that wooden bells existed. But then, there are also wooden xylophones… Coming to think of it, all bells in residential areas should probably wooden LOL!!
(don’t get me wrong, I actually love the sound of bells, but i’m living too close to them for comfort 😉 )
