Photo Hunters ~ Wooden

When I was at the San Buenaventura Mission last Monday I took this photo of a wooden bell that was in the museum. You can see more of my photos from the mission here.

Photobucket is holding all my photos I stored with them from 2007-2015 hostage. They have blacked out all those photos on my blog posts. OH BOTHER! I’m slowly cleaning up my posts.

  1. Wow Ellen, that wooden bell is really interesting. First time I’ve seen bells made of wood. I’m wondering, any loud ringing sounds from it? @_@
Have a good weekend Ellen 🙂

  2. Wow, I’d never have thought that wooden bells existed. But then, there are also wooden xylophones… Coming to think of it, all bells in residential areas should probably wooden LOL!!

(don’t get me wrong, I actually love the sound of bells, but i’m living too close to them for comfort 😉 )

    Happy Weekend!

  3. Wow – that’s amazing!! I have never heard of or seen a wooden bell before 😀
It reminds me of an old bell in my hometown in the Philippines, only that ours is made from coins donated by the locals.
