Photobucket is holding all my photos I stored with them from 2007-2015 hostage. They have blacked out all those photos on my blog posts. OH BOTHER! I’m slowly cleaning up my posts.
Welcome to Show and Tell Friday.
I love to use white platters and bowls when entertaining and for everyday. Most of these pieces I picked up at Goodwill. The top right bowl was a gift from my brother (he gave me 2) and the bottom right hand corner platter was a gift from my son and his wife. The second row one on the left is a strawberry collander. I find that I can use these with any set of dishes and for any occassion. If they break I can replace them easily.

I absolutely love white dishes. I’ve never seen anything like these beautiful pieces at my goodwill. I’ll have to keep a better eye out!!!!
I have all white dishes as well for that very same reason…although I don’t break any of mine lol
So do I! I wonder where I got that from? Hmmm!
I love them, too. Wow. Some of them are so unique. One looks like a collander. Is that right? Thank yo for sharing.
Nancy
Wow, what a nice collection you have! I guess I like the bowl on the third picutre best but they look all lovely!

Best wishes from Germany, Anita
OOOOHHHH nice collection! They are all so lovely! Jen
Very nice and practical. I like the bowl that looks like a collander.
Pretty…they look like ‘milk glass’….are they? A strawberry collander, never heard of such a thing….but I LIKE it!!!
My Show N Tell is shared. Hope you can drop by for a few minutes’ visit today.

Karyn

Those are nice serving dishes.
Susan
That is a beautiful collection.
They’re beautiful! I especially like the colander.
You’re right about “dressing up” plain white pieces. You can make some really festive holiday settings with the appropriate colors and accents. I love that you found them at a bargain. I would hate for my grandmother’s pieces to have wound up in a Goodwill, it makes me sad that someone just got rid of something like that! Their loss was your gain!
Connie
ellen, I love those white platters. I have a couple of them and they stand in back of my cook-top. So homey! My Show & Tell isn’t up yet. I will do it later this afternoon… 🙂
They are so gorgeous and versatile!
What a nice pieces. I like white dishes too. Linda
White is easy, it looks nice and goes with everything !
Just lovely. Hugs.
ellen, mine’s up now…come visit!
I love white serving dishes! And since I break most everything, I’m glad I have a set for use in my home too.
I love the colander! That would be great for fresh fruit.
White serve wares are truly versatile.
Love the white dishes. I also like to use them. I love all these things blogging friends get at Goodwill. When I go I just don’t see the same kinds of things. Maybe I should go more often, or tag along with some of you some day! 🙂 I’l keep trying1 I’m going to find a beautiful bargain one day–I’ll be showing it off when I do!
Ellen you get the best stuff at Goodwill! You are a great shopper and bargain hunter. These look like ironstone and would have cost much more.
Thank you Ellen for visiting my blog! I also love your white dishes. I too have added a lot of white serving dishes in my collection. They are nice that they go with just about everything and I think the food looks so much nicer on the white.
I love white dishes too and your collection is beautiful! Isn’t Goodwill wonderful?! :0)
Hugs,
Kelli
They say Monday is the best day to hit Goodwill,
