The Wildflower fun is continuing at Elizabeth Joy’s site. This week February 6th thru the 12th the theme is decorating in the home.
Wildflowers in the Home – Decorating with wildflowers. Show us dishes or other decorations made by you or someone else that you have in your home. Save the fabric decorations and paintings or drawings for the next two weeks.
I’m sharing dishes that I have with floral themes. Some may not be true wildflowers. I’m also including two collages of tea-cups that we have given to my mother over the years that have more of a wildflower feel to them.
My china pattern is Moss Rose by Royal Albert.

Ellen beautiful collection and beautiful photography. The lily of the valley tea cup looks very similiar to mine but yours is more delicate.
I don’t know how to spell it but, veranya. Is that something like the Russian expression for tea.
Kathy, Varenya is the wonderful fruit syrups (with the chunks of fruit) our mothers have cooked and canned to put into tea to sweeten it. My mom has made berry, cherry, lemon, kumquat etc. My favorite has been the lemon. So you have probably heard varenya offered to enjoy with the tea!

Oooh, you have such lovely things, My favorite is the Lily-of-the-Valley teacup. The Johnson Bros. dishes are very nice too. I have a Johnson Bros. Flo-blue plate that I did not include in my week four entry.
So lovely!! I have one that looks like the violet cup and saucer in the bottom left corner. My mother’s china was also Royal Albert – the Petit Point pattern. She passed it on to me.
Looks like you need to invite us over for a little tea party! Shall I bring the scones?

Beautiful china! I love china tea cups and teapots even though I prefer to drink out of a good ol’ sturdy coffee mug. The china is just beautiful to look at and it blooms all year:o)
I am really wondering what I can do for this week. I have plenty of wildflower bouquets during the spring and summer months, but I don’t know that I have any wildflower decor that is permanent.
Pretty tea cups! I think I may have given my mother the one in the upper left corner of the second set from the bottom. It looks very familiar. Are they white hellebore flowers?
