Last Thursday Dear and I took a little drive not far from home to see if we could catch any new views of Autumn.
It looks promising as we hit the road east to Duvall and Carnation.
Along the Snoqualmie Valley Trail in Duvall.
There were still some nice flower patches filled with Dahlias.
This day started out with low misty clouds drifting in the sky.
It was a very nice day for an Autumn drive. We walked a little, shopped a little, ate a little, too. We came home with a pie from Remlinger farms and a nice bunch of carrots from Oxbow farm in Carnation. Both of these farms had pumpkin patches but I’ll wait for the letter P for those photos. We are enjoying this new season. Do you enjoy Autumn?
I’m linking up with ABC Wednesday that was started by Mrs. Nesbitt and is now administered by Roger and the ABC team!
Beautiful, thanks for sharing!
Beautiful scenery and fall color! Thanks for taking us with you on your drive.
I love Autumn, and the first picture said to me: “Autumn is peeking around the corner!” Lovely pictures.
Lovely scenic captures!
They will make wonderful greeting cards.
Autumn is lovely.

Our parents took us to Snoqualmie Falls Lodge for a special treat. I’ve been to Carnation, too. It’s so lovely. What a great thing to do!
Beautiful scenes. I love the fall changing colors.
WOW – you have such beautiful autumn colors!!! Ours aren’t as vibrant.
What a pleasant drive that must have been.
My ABC WEDNESDAY
I love the last one!
Such beautiful pictures, such a lovely drive!! Autumn is the best season!
I’m enjoying the autumn pictures. That field of dahlias had me a little envious. I planted quite a few this year and for some reason, had no blooms.
What fun!
Please tell me, are the dahlia patches used for cut flowers or for sale at a stand or just because somebody wants to plant lots of dahlias? So pretty!
I think for all those reasons, Jody. We visited Dear’s mother’s cousin years ago close to this area and she had award winning Dahlia’s that she planted just for her own pleasure and to share with others. So many varieties!
Thanks for the colourful autumn photos!
Have a great week!
Wil, ABCW Team.
On your pictures, autumn looks so nice with all its colours. And then I take a look out of the window… the sky is grey and its raining -.-
Greetings, Dana

Pretty pictures of this season – my favourite! Love the misty pictures.
Your pictures are wonderful, Ellen, and it looks like you and your hubby had a great day out!! I love that you took a picture of the corn stalks; I love to see fields of those in the fall. 🙂 The dahlias are gorgeous, too; they’re SO pretty this time of the year as the other flowers are fading. I love your last photo with the mist on the trees and the barn with red roof — my kind of scenery. 😀
Thank you for sharing with us; I’m glad you’re enjoying fall in your area! Have a great week!
Blessings,
Denise
Autumn is definitely with you. And, it’s gorgeous. This is my favorite season, but no signs of Autumn yet. Simply hot, dry temps with occasional coolness to remind us that maybe Autumn is coming.
The View from the Top of the Ladder
If we ever get any autumn, I’ll be ecstatic! Meanwhile, it’s lovely to imagine cooling temperatures and gorgeous colors as you’ve shown here.
Lovely fall colours, and beautifully captured….
Simply love the autumn colours… thanks for sharing
Autumn is my favorite season. Love all the beautifully colored leaves on the trees and trail:)
