All of these photos were taken on a Saturday morning walk at Huntington Beach, California on January 24th. One of my sisters lives a few blocks from this beach. It was great to walk along the beach and out to the end of the pier with my sister and sister in law this nice windy morning. Not to shabby to walk and talk with scenes like these…
Ebb and Flow:
1: the alternate ebb and flood of the tide
2: a condition or rhythm of alternate forward and backward movement or of alternate decline and renewed advance
Since we’re on E for ABC Wednesday I decided to call this Ebb and Flow. Thank you Denise Nesbitt and the ABC Team!
My home town! Beautiful pictures!
Whilst enjoying watching other daredevils 😉
I stay dry ….. and busy making photo’s…… if i would be there ofcourse 😉
So refreshing to see these photos! Those waves look beautiful (wishing it was summer already!) 😀
Thank you for this excellent series of photos of the continuous movement of the sea. It is fascinating to see the sea so busy!
I wish you a very happy week!
Wil, ABCW Team.
Those are beautiful pictures, Ellen! It’s hard to believe to come from minus twenties weather and look at what those living with plus twenties weather are enjoying. Like you say, walking on the beach is such a good reminder of the ebb and flow of life. We all feel it at certain times and it’s good to know that there is a constant, that we have a God who does not change in His desire for good for us.
Amazing series of adventure shots.
excellent, though you’ll never find ME on those waves!
ROG, ABCW
beautiful shots.
My ABC WEDNESDAY
stunning captures of the ocean! what grace and skill those surfers have.
Aww – a wonderful visual of Ebb and Flow. I like Anneliese’s response – just as in life – we all feel it sometimes.
Magnificent and awesome!!! Your sister is super lucky to live that close to the water!
