I saw this artwork at Hobby Lobby and I had to buy it and bring it home. I’ll post the hymn that this short text comes from soon. I’m sure a lot of you can sing along, especially the refrain.

Matthew 10:29-33
Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.
The hymn is a good one! I really like the wall hanging. I am going to think about where I could hang it in my house and if I come up with a place, I’m going to get one as well. You are an influencer, Ellen!
”I sing because I’m happy.
I sing because I’m free.
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.”
”I sing because I’m happy.
I sing because I’m free.
His eye is on the sparrow and I know He watches me.”
…be well and enjoy the remainder of your July!
Pretty art work! Take care, have a wonderful day!
It’s lovely Ellen, I would have bought it too 🙂
I know that hymn well and we sing it often at church. It was my Grandmother’s favorite one.
One of my top favorite hymns. It is beautiful.
