Foggy With a Chance of Sunshine

We have had quite a stretch of foggy days with several days of rain, too.

“Faith is like radar that sees through the fog—the reality of things at a distance that the human eye cannot see.” – Corrie Ten Boom.

And then a glorious couple hours of this…

The sun broke through the fog and we could see blue sky for just a few hours on Friday and now we are back to fog and rain. That couple of hours reminds us that the sky is still blue and the sun is still there and the fog will lift again.

How are the skies where you are?

  1. We’ve had lots of rain and lots of clouds lately here in Alabama. I think the sun is supposed to come out today!! When I finally see sun and blue skies, it always makes me feel so much better!!

  2. We had a bit of fog yesterday coming home from church, but this morning we are seeing ❄️❄️ falling from the sky.

Your pictures are so pretty with the fog. I’ve always loved fog… especially if we don’t have to drive far in it.

  3. We have had the same kind of fog experiences, Ellen! It was so amazing on Friday to enjoy the sunshine, even if just for a few hours! I was hoping it would return today, but we still haven’t seen it here. The fog does make the sunshine that much more precious when it comes though! Many blessings to you 🙂

  4. The foggy photos are pretty in their own right. The blue sky is lovely and I’m sure welcome. Our weather has been all over the place, but today a lovely blue sky but quite windy on our walk. Martha Ellen

  5. I love a foggy morning but worry about folks driving in those conditions. Your photos are so pretty and what a difference when it clears and the sun comes out. We have had some heavy rain that cleared all the snow, and when we went out it was dry with some very dramatic skies. After our 73 degree day, the temperature dropped 40 degrees and it was windy and cold.

  6. No more snow here. But fog, rain, clouds, and more clouds. No sunshine. Even the local weatherman commented on how few days we have had any sun this month. Feels like I am back in Oregon.

  7. The skies here are gray, gray, gray. Rain yesterday; no rain today, but no sun either. These stretches of gray really make us appreciate the sun though!

  8. Ellen – I can relate. Just this morning we had a glorious sunrise, and then 2 minutes later it was obscured by mist. And all the snow is m – e – l – t – i – n – g. So sad. Thanks for visiting my blog and your kind comment!

  9. Your misty photos look pretty. Stay safe when out and about in foggy or snowy conditions. Here in our region of Yorkshire, England we have had some days of rain and windy weather. Today it’s pleasantly mild and we look forward to sunshine.

I read all comments and appreciate them.
