The Heavens Declare the Glory of God…

Jo is taking the week off from Wednesday Hodgepodge.

I was up early on Tuesday and stepping outside I enjoyed the beautiful skies while listening to all the songbirds greeting the morning. Couldn’t help myself from hoping I’d hear that trumpet sound!

Painting is in progress. This is the South side and most exposed and faded part of the house. We are changing the trim to white and simply framing the windows with white. The rest of the siding will be the Teton Blue by Behr paints. We won’t add a third color except for the doors which are already painted the Marine Dress Blue. Don’t look too closely at all our weeds.

June is speedily coming to an end.

  1. That’s very close to the color we’ve been looking at! I have fallen in love with the color combo of blue, white and brown (wood.) I painted our living room a few years ago, we just did our bedroom, we’re looking at redoing our kitchen those colors and now the outside of the house. (I hope I don’t over do it!)

  2. I forgot about the trumpet sound!! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve looked up to the sky, especially on road trips – and the sky is spectacular with the clouds and the colors and I listen for that same glorious sound!

  3. Ellen – glorious skies! I find myself praising God every minute that I am outside – His creation is incredible in every way. And don’t talk to me about weeds … we have 15 acres, and it is an incredible challenge to stay on top of them! Enjoy your Fourth of July weekend!
