Continuing our drive through the Badlands on our Land That We Love Tour. It was a windy cold day and we were happy for our layers.
This was a couple we kept bumping into at each of the turnouts. They were from California and they had no fear of walking out on the rocks.
I was more comfortable on walkways.
Goodbye Badlands. We are so glad we came and made the loop.
And now we were off to Omaha, Nebraska for the night. My camera got a good rest as we drove to Omaha.
Love all the striated rocks. All those colours. And beautiful skies. Not sure I’d like to live there but would love to drive through. B x
Barbara, a great place to visit but I wouldn’t want to live there, either.
Beautiful views of the park! Enjoy your day, have a great new week!
…beautifully stark.
What amazing scenery. It reminds me of a moonscape.
You all have covered a lot of beautiful miles.
More majestic scenery! Glad you gave your camera a workout! (I would definitely be a walkway girl too. đŸ˜®)
Cheryl, Those two made me very nervous as they walked out on those precipices!
Just gorgeous vistas, whether you stopped or just photographed from the road.
That is an amazing place. We’ve been there too. Seems like another planet!!
You couldn’t find one thing to take a picture of between the Badlands and Omaha, Nebraska? My goodness there’s lots to see, I’m sorry you missed it all. It’s beautiful this time of year especially.
Lorrie, I’m sure there is a lot of beauty to see but we were on a schedule and it’s not good photo ops driving down the highway at 70 miles per hour. đŸ™‚
Such beauty! Hugs and blessings.
What a view, Ellen!
Such ineresting rock formations!
Great photos! We stopped in the Badlands on our trip from Virginia to Washington a few years ago – I still have to scrapbook that trip!
THANK YOU FOR SHARING THE VIEWS….
