The photo above popped up in my memories this week from our first home in the state of Washington. Our kids built this fort in our back yard in the early 90’s.
Do any of you watch the show on History Channel called ‘Alone’?

I’m always impressed with the structures the contestants are able to build with just an ax. They have to cut the trees down all alone…

…as a kid I loved to build forts!
What a cute photo this is. I am not familiar with that show. When I was a kid, we would walk to a nearby appliance store and ask for the boxes that refrigerators came in and make forts with them!
Building forts was so much fun and I’ve built a lot of them. 🙂
Don ‘t have TV so no, don ‘t watch Alone, but I’ve heard of it.
Every child loves a fort. Our grands take the couch cushions and throws to create theirs in our living room. I’ve not heard of that show, but I know of the area it’s filmed in.
