Like sunflowers daffodils make me smile. I have yet to track some down this year to brighten up the house.

Maybe I’ll find some today.

March has been calm around here so far but plans are afoot for the middle of the month and beyond. Tomorrow we will be watching the grands while D & J help a friend in Spokane with a move.

I’m enjoying the senior workouts by Yes2next on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays and I’m looking to add something different by them for Tuesdays and Thursdays. I like that the daughter\mom team have voices that are easy to listen to. I’m not a fan of loud screeching instructions.

The owl jigsaw puzzle is still on the dining room table and I’ve made some progress but it continues to be a tough one.

The electrical is mostly done in the shop and Dear has lights, lots of them. Soon he’ll start in on drywalling the ceiling. The temps have been above freezing which makes it easier to work in the shop without heat. Toe warmers and battery warming gloves also add to the comfort of working in the cold.

Other than watching our grands we will have a quiet weekend. How about you?

    • Barbara, We were in England in April in 2004 and it was fun to see daffodils blooming in fields and gardens. Glad you have them blooming in your garden!

  1. Oh I must search for those work outs .No daffodils over here just yet. I have a bouquet of super market tulips on the table to help remind me that Spring will come eventually. Have a great weekend.

  2. I’m with you, daffodils make me smile too.
This Sunday we will be going back to church in person instead of watching on FB. We feel comfortable going now that number of covid cases are going down. Sure looking forward to it!!

  3. A daffodil search over here, too. The sign said: daffodil bouquets $2.79. Alas, there were many other spring flower bouquets, but the price was $9.99. I’m not worth that. 🌷

Wonderful that so much progress is being made on the garage.

Yes, a quiet weekend here, too.

  4. Hello the daffodils are pretty, I like the container too. We do not have any specials plans for the weekend.
Enjoy your time with the grandchildren! Have a happy weekend!

  5. Our daffodil leaves are a few inches above ground now . . . so exciting, this harbinger of spring! Also exciting are lights in the shop! That’s progress!

We’re having a rather quiet weekend. Ron is replacing our hot water heater today as he noticed a small crack in it earlier this week. No big plans, just a little housework and maybe a drive later. Enjoy those grands today! (I know you will!)
