Missing Piece!

We finished this puzzle yesterday but one piece is missing and we’ve checked the floors and haven’t been able to come up with it. So frustrating.

If you find it, let me know. On the up side this was the first puzzle we’ve put together that was missing a piece. Hopefully it will be the last one we put together with a piece missing.

It was a good day to work on a puzzle since it rained all day and was gloomy outside. We took our car to the dealer and got a glitch fixed so we had to drive into town with two cars. It was too long of a fix to wait at the dealer. We came back home and while we waited we worked on the puzzle.

Just wanted to post a reminder that our Truth from A to Z Bible Verse Challenge will start back up on Thursday of this week. We will be on the letter O. Hope to see you then.

  1. Oh how frustrating to have a missing piece in your beautiful puzzle! However, from looking at the picture I couldn’t tell what was missing until you showed the closeup. I started working on a new puzzle after Christmas, and found an EXTRA piece…a duplicate of one that was already placed! Perhaps I should send it to you! It wouldn’t fit, but it would be a piece! I guess there’s a lesson in this somewhere if we think about it…but it is 5:48 a.m. here, Too early to think that hard! Have a blessed and wonderful day, and may all your missing pieces in life come back together again…in God’s sweet timing.

  2. O where O where could it be??? I think there must be a story in there somewhere. Wonder if you could contact the company that made it to see if they can get you that piece. Such a lovely puzzle and I agree with Sandi – a blessed Grandma indeed.

  3. I like that puzzle. Very frustrating to have a piece missing. My dad used to take a piece and hide it so he could put the last piece in and finish the puzzle. lol

  4. There have been a number of missing pieces on the puzzles I’ve worked…probably my own fault. I figure some of them went the way of the vacuum cleaner and some the way of the cat. I’ll be doing that with my car this Friday and Laurel will help with the transporting. Hope the sun is out today!

  5. Hi Ellen! I’m staying at our daughter’s house to take care of her pets. She has a puzzle on the table but I have a bag of knitting, my computer, and books. Maybe I’ll put in a piece or two!
    Happy New Year, lovely one!

  6. I like white mountain puzzles!! They are pretty easy but fun. We have a few of them. Don’t give up on finding that piece yet. I’ve found pieces I thought were missing in the strangest places!!
