7 Days Until Christmas!

How is it going at your house? Are you almost ready to celebrate Christmas?

After looking at the photo above I moved that star above the angels head about a foot to the right.

Hope you are finding ways to Be Merry!

May the pure love of Jesus shine brightly in your heart this Christmas Season!

One tiny baby, one manger stall, one God who sent His Son to show His love for all.

  1. Everything looks so pretty at your house. With Christ in the center how can you not have a Merry Christmas! 🙂 So hard to believe just one week to go.

  2. Ellen – yes, we are ready. Well, there are little things, like finishing the wrapping, but that is something I look forward to, so I don’t mind that it remains undone. We are having so much fun with our daughter and her boyfriend. Your decorations are lovely, and your nativity is adorable. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

  3. Christmas has just rushed in on me this year! I’m ready, but I don’t feel relaxed. Perhaps because of the unusual circumstances surrounding everything… At any rate, it will be here in a week, ready or not! I’d better just get with the program!

I LOVE your wood floors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to do something similar in pattern/color in my dressing room. Trying to get the ol’ ball and chain on board with it!

    Have a happy weekend!

  4. Hello,

t have gone from a large full tree to a tabletop Will be choosing special ornamentsp for each of my 14 grandchildren and 2 great grands to have .decoration from Grammie/GG.
In pre Covid times there are 30+ people for Christmas, but due to Covid and two members of family with serious immune deficiencies, we are all celebrating separately.
Some are planning on family walk Christmas Day We will also, have a rousing Zoom call with everyone on Boxing Day. Most importanly, staying safe and healthy is our goal.

    • Sally, thank you for leaving your comment. Wow, 14 grandchildren and two grands, how wonderful. This year looks different for most of us for sure. Those special ornaments will be a treat. A family walk and zoom call sound like a very good alternative. Merry Christmas to you and yours!

  6. Beautiful decorations! And I like your Be Merry banner. I have a long hallway too and might hang something like that at the entrance. Great idea! Merry Christmas Ellen! Bless you and your family as you celebrate Jesus’ birth!
