Through the Eyes of A Child…

Yes, it is still Fall but here in Colville we are enjoying snow through the eyes of our little ones.

Can you see Addy looking through her snow wall?

Here she is.

We did some shopping at our local Wal-Mart and at a special artisan pop up in town. We found some special items and will return for more items supporting our locals.

Our snow turned to rain and we ended the afternoon with a wonderful stretch of sunshine.

We drove to Chewelah to enjoy a Mexican meal.

As usual our favorite waiter treated us too well with lots of extras that we didn’t order.

We are getting some sunshine on Saturday so Dear will be able to move ahead with some progress on his shop.

Do you have any special plans for the weekend?

  1. Hello,

Love the views with the snow and your cute grandchildren! The Mexican meal sounds delicious! Take care, enjoy your weekend!

  2. Snow, so much fun. None for us yet though.
We are just staying home. A new record for Covid cases in our state, 2300 in one day. We had been down to 200 at one time.

  3. Addy built a great snow wall…taller than she is!

Hope that the project comes along snow or no. Does your family use handwarmers? Mine swears by them.

Have had a lovely couple of days so hoping for a slow down on Sunday. I need a nap. That food looks good!

    • Yes, Vee, we have a stash of those warmers. Our daughter in law uses the back warmers, too. Glad you’ve had a few days with hope of rest, too. Blessings!

    • We went again on this Sunday because our Governor is restricting restaurant service again for 4 weeks. We are concerned about our dear servers surviving these restrictions.

  4. Aw – making the best of the snow. Addy seems to love it as does our granddaughter! We are pretty much on lockdown again right now so nothing planned for the weekend!
