On Friday the twenty third of October we got enough snow for Laura, Katie and Addy to build a couple snowmen while Jaymison napped.
At home the morning after I took this shot of our backyard to document the fact that we got closer to 6 inches instead of the 4-1/2 inches predicted.
A lot has melted already and soon all the white layers will be gone till the next snowfall. Our kids will be on the road heading back West later this morning or early afternoon. It’s a catch up day for me. Hope all is well where you are…
…oh my!
Hmmm…this leaves me wondering where THAT storm system went… 😁 Hopefully, you are returning to a normal weather pattern until Christmas
We are definitely hoping for a more normal weather pattern between now and Christmas! 🙂
I’m sure the house feels empty today but your heart is filled up once again! Enjoy the quiet for now. ❤️
Snow like that is very rare in our part of the world, but what fun the children had!
Wow – that is a lot of snow!! Such fun playing in it and making snowmen. I’m sure you are missing everyone right about now. Enjoy catching up while you bask in the memories of the past few days of hustle and bustle!
Love those snowmen! We had blessed snow this weekend and we all hope that it helps the firefighters battling the horrible wildfires in Colorado.
That’s such good news, Pat.
Winter has arrived at your place! So pretty. What great snowmen. I like snow but it is still a bit too early for me!! 🙂
