After Christmas we got enough snow to be able to go sledding. Jaymison isn’t convinced about the wonder of snow but Addy really enjoys it.

The contrast of delight and “I’ve had enough of this stuff”!

Love this snapshot of our grands with their mommy! And that was our snow event in the last days of 2019.

So far the snow that has fallen has not been an issue for getting around. The larger snowfalls quickly melted off because of temperatures over freezing.

I’m happy to report that I’m feeling a lot better. Happy to leave my only illness of 2019 behind! I’m thankful for a very healthy 2019!

About Ellen am a wife, mother, baba (grandmother) and a loyal friend. Jesus is my King and my hope is in my future with Him.

  1. Glad to hear you are feeling better, Ellen. There is a lot of flu making its rounds here. I love seeing the photo of the children enjoying ( at least one ) the snow. Our winter is quite mild so far with only rain. Happy New Year!

  2. Oh such lovely pictures of a wonderful family time. We don’t have snow in the Greater Toronto area, but my son who lives 1 hour north of here, has snow on the ground to make all the skiers happy.
Your family enjoy being together which is a blessing. We are getting larger and larger at family gatherings, as my older grandchildren are getting married or bringing their girlfriends.or boyfriends There are usually 24 -30.of us gathered at Christmas, Easter,. Summer pool party and Thanksgiving. It is my grestist joy, all being together.on these occasions.

  3. I’m glad you’re feeling better. Sledding looks like a lot of fun for the children and being a new experience of snow for your grandson a sweet photo opportunity.

  4. I’m with the little guy, but admire big sister and know that he will be just as brave and fun-loving as she is by the next snowfall. (But I’m glad I don’t have to set a good example for my great-grands…they don’t need to know what a weather wimp I am.)

  5. Good to hear you’re feeling better. This post brought back so many memories. My kids loved sledding and snow. I love the two different expressions going on with your grandbabies.
