Our family has been enjoying a work vacation in Arizona with play breaks.
We enjoyed a couple hours at the zoo and Addy got a nap in.
After the zoo we went to Old Town Scottsdale and enjoyed dinner there.
Our kids’ cousins were in Arizona for the weekend and drove over for dinner on Saturday night.
On Sunday we had a meal together and time at the park before Josh and Laura headed home to Seattle.
We all got a good dose of Vitamin D today! We’ll be back to the land of slippery snow soon enough.
Time for a little rest now.

What a great time. I think Addy was pooped out. Smiling that she even slept at the zoo. I bet the vitamin D was good medicine. Bundle up…and safe travels home. What a great family get a way. Work and play and eats. We like Old Town Scottsdale.

Ellen – a lovely place for a family getaway! We are having a couple of sunny, cold days – it is so pleasing to see that great orb in the sky! It certainly looks like everyone is having a good time, and Addy is as adorable as ever!
We are tentatively planning a visit to that area very very soon! Granddaughters are a big draw, aren’t they? My PAL lives there!
