Linking up later today with Tom for The Weekend Roundup ~ “G”
Love this post especially the picture of gramps and granddaughter
Thank you, Vera.
…Wow, ‘G’ was tailer made for you! Little cutie pie, a big family and a big cathedral. Thanks Ellen for stopping by this week. I hope that all is going well with you!
Thank you, Tom.
Can’t get beat on “G” words today, Ellen, yours are the GREATEST. I like the Gramps and grandaughter picture, aka ‘Hubby’, right? The family picture is nice too. Gloucester was a surprise. We’ve been there, I’m sure mostly around it, when we left Stratford-on-the Avon going across to the Cotswold and Stonehenge. Our younger daughter and family lived and workef in London five years so we pretty well covered the U.K.
Been missing you, been traveling and visiting Gloucester?
..
We wish we were touring Great Britain but no. We are in the throws of a major move across the state of Washington and under all the waves this kind of move involves. No leisure time for a while yet. First photo is of my hubby. Thank you for your comment.
The first photo is the sweetest. Lovely post Ellen.
Thank you, Denise!
I love all the Grands – Grandparents and Grandchildren together show true intergenerational love! A beautiful extended family!
Grands are grand for sure. Thank you Ralph!
Oh, all those England photos!! Makes me want to jump on a plane and fly to London!
I loved the yard art post–I would be hard pressed to choose only one! Waiting expectantly for news of your new home! (not as expectantly as you are, no doubt)
Willow, You will definitely hear when we find “the house”. 🙂

Cute pic of Gramps and his Granddaughter. Beautiful shot of the Cloisters! Have a wonderful weekend!
Something happened up there when I tried to post my comment, so will try again. Wouldn’t let me leave my name. Probably my ineptitude. 🙂
Thank you for persevering Betty! I appreciate your comment.
Grand! REally fun pics.
Ellen, the photos of the grands are grand, and those of Great Britain (my favorite place) are great!
Aww, I love that first photo of Gramps and his granddaughter, so precious ♥ you have a big family, Ellen! I hope to get to Great Britain someday, it’s where my grandfather was born and grew up, he came to America when he was 18, left his family and never saw them again. Got a job in Massachusetts, met his wife and they raised 9 children together. One being my Mom. There is just one sibling left now, she was the baby and is now 84. I keep in touch regularly (through social media) with 6 folks in England, most are my mom’s first cousins, and their children. It would be fun to meet them. Have a good week!
