A New Week…

If you want to see fields and fields of tulips without traveling to Holland you need to come to Washington State in April.

Do you see the heart of pink tulips here?

We are fans of Roozengaarde in Mt. Vernon and always enjoy our visits to this beautiful garden and their tulip fields. Always make sure to have your mud boots with you when you visit the tulip fields.

We have had a weekend of keeping things clean and tidy and letting people traipse through our home at their whim. Sigh. Hope we sell soon so we can relax, a little. Hope all is well in your world.

  1. It’s such a beautiful garden and I’m glad that some have also popped up in our area in the past few years. Who knew that you don’t have to have to have to go to Holland to see tulips?
I hope that soon you can relax and not have strangers traipsing through your house any more. It must feel strange. May you know God’s peace in this “waiting” room.

  2. One of these years I will make it down to see those tulips……but in the meantime I’ll have to be satisfied with enjoying them on posts like this one. I will keep in mind the advice about the boots!

  3. Testament to how little I know. As a part time floral designer, I know that all tulips don’t originate from Holland, but I sure wasn’t aware of the vastness of these grown in Washington state!!! Even though I see tulips all the time, seeing them like this just always makes me happy. They are by and large my favorite of all blooms! The heart is really cool!!!! Fingers and toes crossed on the house sale!!!

  4. We live so close by yet have never visited the tulip fields in bloom. They look so pretty! A good tip to remember about the mud boots! I hope your home sells soon.

  5. The are so beautiful and I love the heart. We visit a place in Carlsbad, CA who has fields of Ranunculus which are so beautiful.

    • I’ve seen pictures of those fields and they are so beautiful. I have a friend who just moved there and I’ll need to remind her to visit those fields.

  6. So beautiful and colorful! I’ve not been in years…..I always took my dear Mum every year and I miss that. Scrolled down to see your precious little grand-daughter. Babies grow up so fast – you just want to savor every moment! Pray you have a buyer soon. x Karen
