On Saturday morning when I was catching up on visiting blogs I saw the cookies that Lorrie made with a recipe she posted. Lorrie’s blog is called Fabric Paper Thread. I checked my cupboards and was pleased to see I had all the ingredients I needed for the recipe. Dear and I enjoyed the finished product. Whenย Josh and Laura were here on Sunday they enjoyed them, too. Click over to Lorrie’s to see the recipe.ย I put mine too close to each other on the cookie sheet. They still taste great! Lorrie’s look perfect!
Lorrie describes them well, “I like them because they are assertively ginger-flavoured and are crisp and snappy, but can soften to chewiness over time.”
Happy Monday to you.
It doesn’t really matter what they look like because they taste so great!
…I’d snap them right up.
Beautiful! They’re calling my name too!
These look great, Ellen. Thanks for sharing!๐๐
Oooh, these look so good. Checking on those ingredients, so I can make them this week. Thanks for sharing!
I love a chewy cookie best!
Haven’t had ginger snaps in a long time but I do like them. I’ll have check out the recipe.
Hubby loves ginger snaps…I’ll have to give the recipe a try. ๐
They look so uniform – a ginger snap tower!!! Yummy!
I drooled at Lorrie’s cookies . . . now I am drooling again! I love ginger cookies. Alas, no time to make them this week. Maybe next . . .
Yum! I love ginger cookies!
Also, I like your photo of the seagulls. They look cold.
Oh yummy!! I’m still catching up on blog reading since we had guests and then went away for a few days on the boat … I haven’t visited Lorrie’s blog yet — but you can bet I want to try those cookies now that they have been recommended by two of my favorite bloggers!
Those looks yummy. Thanks for the link. I love Ginger Snaps.
