We are getting down to the bare bones of our former small master bath so we can make a new footprint and expand the bathroom into unused space.
Here’s the space before he started ripping into the walls. A full before and after post will hopefully be ready by Christmas. That’s my “all I want for Christmas wish”. The master bedroom is the only area up the stairs from our kitchen so at least it can be out of sight and out of mind. I still feel unhinged and not at the top of my game. We are also waiting to create total chaos in the kitchen area when the new counter tops are cut and ready to be installed.
Here’s a fun photo that our kids took last Friday night when Addy arrived for a couple of days.
Addy and Uncle Andrew. We are an eyebrow rich family!
Have a nice Tuesday everyone.
I know what you mean! It rattles our stability but it’s worth it.
…“Chaotic” doesn’t look nice, but cutie pie does!
Ahh the delight of home renovations! You just have to keep looking ahead to the end result!
Yikes, renovations are stressful, but keep your eyes on the joy that is to come.
That baby girl is getting cuter by the minute.
Sweet photo. I look forward to seeing all your home improvement projects.
What a blessing that your mister is handy with tools.. Addy is all about cuteness….
Oh Ellen – you are brave to do a major reno like this!!! I’m sure you will love it when it’s all done. We are measuring for a new counter top over here too (and a kitchen island and chimney cabinet addition). Not sure this will all happen before Christmas though.
That shot is so very cute Ellen. Good luck on this major renovation. I am always hoping we will get there one day.
Oooo boy. I have had my share of chaos in my time. I feel for you. As everyone always says, it will be worth it, but until then . . . It will though.
Love the fun photo!! 🙂
Oh yeah — we’ve lived in total chaos several times … big remodeling projects almost more times than i can count — I feel for you, especially when it comes to the kitchen — that’s the hardest. Looks like you have a crew to help though.
Oh, I feel your pain – so much dust and mess, but it will all be worth it! Addie and Uncle are previewing the look on your face when you see the end result! 🙂 So cute! x
I’m impressed with your husband’s ambitious project! And will wish along with you for a timely finish 🙂
We had walls removed too!
