A couple Saturdays ago I walked with the Wonder Walkers group from church at Evans Creek Preserve in Sammamish.
It was a good walk with several trails and some higher elevations to hike up, too.
Thankfully this was the only wildlife we saw. There are bear warnings here. We did hear lots of birds.
I’m linking up to Mosaic Monday with Maggie at Normandy Life.
We had a couple events this weekend, a very special birthday party and a baby shower. I’ll share photos from the birthday party soon.
Bear warnings?!?!??!? I hope you had your Air Jordans on!!!!!!!! Very pretty and peaceful. Have a great week.
I love your walk … nothing like a nature walk to feel the peace God’s creation is filled with .. The deer is beautiful …
Such beautiful green lush foliage there! We have been so hot and dry here this summer. Fire dangers high again. Glad you did not see a bear — the deer was pretty!
…great shots of nature, I’ve been reading about the bears, I’ll stick with the deer.
Ellen, you are a prolific blogger! I saw a doe in my yard night before last…my rosebud eating culprit!
Hello, love the pretty seer. It is a treat to see the wildlife, I love to see the bears too. Looks like a pretty peaceful place for a hike. Happy Monday, Enjoy your day and the new week ahead!
Lovely photos. Everything is looking so green and lush. I guess that’s from all your rainfall recently. Bet you enjoyed that walk :). B x
What a beautiful walk you had with your friends, such a pretty time of year it is! How wonderful that the only wildlife you had to interact with was the deer! That is all I want to see when out hiking too! We have had a lot of bear warnings around here too. Beautiful pictures π
I LOVE these pictures! Outdoors is my favorite place right now π
Have a blessed week Ellen!
Deer are such pretty and delicate creatures. They are best in their natural habitat – not in city/suburban gardens. Our weather is perfect for walking outdoors these days! Glad you enjoyed yours.
Such a great name for your walking group, you certainly picked a wonderful place for your outing, glad you didn’t encounter any bears!
Did you name the walking group? The first time I stumbled on your blog, I read the name of it to Bill and told him I wished that i had thought of that! And wonder Walkers is as perfect for a group of nature walkers as ‘Happy Wonderer’ is for your blog!! Life is full of happiness to discover when we look!! Thanks for sharing your wonders.
Thanks Sallie, Went round and round on what to name the blog back in 2007. No I didn’t name the walking group but I was drawn to it because of the name. π
Ellen, Those sun photos are stunning. Thanks for sharing and have a great week. Sylvia D.
