I’m typing this before the sun rises. Hope everyone who celebrated Thanksgiving had a good day. We had a wonderful celebration with old friends. The oldest being 90 and the youngest just one year. We are moving on to thoughts of December and all there is to celebrate. This Sunday is the first Sunday of Advent. Do you do anything special on Advent Sundays? When do you put up your tree or start decorating for Christmas?
All of our kids will be here this morning so I’ll be off line for most of today. Have a good Friday and don’t spend all your money in one place!

Glad you all enjoyed Thanksgiving! We don’t have any special traditions on
Advent Sunday but I am planning decorations & meals.
Happy weekend!
What a gorgeous picture, Ellen!
I wait as long as possible before decorating for Christmas. Twins in the terrible twos would love to play with all of MiMi’s decorations…
Have a happy day with your kids!
Lovely! Glad that you are all there together. Have a fun day…I’d be zipping off, but there is freezing rain today. For the added cheer, I am in need of Christmas light therapy, I have my tree up. Sometimes I participate in Advent Sundays because it settles me and is a reminder of all He is and the reason why He came. Not sure if I will this year.
Had a good uneventful thanksgiving. Great to know generations showed up at your place. I start putting up my tree two weeks before Christmas. Thanks for the interactive reading!
Just popping in to wish you a wonderful day with all the kids home! Happy Thanksgiving weekend!
Don’t do any special for Advent Sundays. Just a regular church day which I always look forward too. : )
We don’t put our tree up till December sometime and it is different every year. One day I just get the urge and do it.
Hi Ellen! Yay for kid visitors! We’ll celebrate advent at Kelli’s on Sunday. I will do the trees when the mood strikes.
I hope you have a nice loving weekend!
That’s a lovely picture…how did you do that? Regular church day for us. We put up our tree the first weekend of December.
