Mosaic Monday

2016-11-04-discovery-park

On Friday we drove to Discovery Park in Seattle to see what we could see. It was a beautiful day with no rain promised till late in the evening. I will have a full post on what we saw but for Mosaic Monday I’m showing a bit of this tug boat and her journey out into the Puget Sound from Shilshole Bay. The mountains you see in the background are the Olympic Mountain Range, west of Seattle and between us and the Pacific ocean.

With the time change we are now sitting in the dark at 5:00 pm and so the shorter days begin.

Linking to Mosaic Monday at Normandy Life. Thank you Maggie for hosting.

  1. So wonderful to see those mountains as backdrop to the beautiful water scene …. we are treasuring our mountain scenery as much as we can this month, since after our return to Florida they will be in somewhat short supply.

  2. Beautiful picture…yes, that is exactlly the time we are sitting in the dark, too. Full dark, too, down in this holler. Oh well, it’s almost time for Christmas lights, Ellen. They will bring light and cheer to the evenings. Guess we must not squander the daylight hours.

  3. We’re suffering from dark mornings and evenings too, staying warm and cosy by the fire during the day after doing masses of leaf raking whenever the rain ceases.
Thanks for bringing these scenes of clear blue water to MM this week, they brightened my day!
