Driving to the famous Farmer’s Market area of Los Angeles a few years ago we came across this house with an over the top application of Michelangelo’s David statues. Yes, plural, statues! This is in a million dollar plus neighborhood.

Over 14 David reproduction statues. I wonder what the story behind this landscaping is? Yard art gone crazy! What do you think the neighbors say? “Oh you won’t have a problem finding our street, turn at the David’s x 14+!”
So many sad and serious things happening in the Pacific Northwest right now I had to post something to distract myself in between praying earnestly!
I’m linking up with TexWisGirl at Run*A*Round Ranch Report for Good Fences #74.
oh, boy! or boys! 🙂
be safe.
I wonder if the inhabitant of this house has not a mental problem, too much is too much, lol !
My oh my David is really out there for all to see. Here the local collage had a statue of David attatched to a building but they made them take it down when people compained about it since it’s (naked) and children would see it. I do wonder about their choice in yard decor but I liked the fencing. – Yes a lot going on in the PNW right now.
You are so right! Thanks for leaving a comment on my Coventry blog. I’m from Pasadena – seeing your photos today really made me smile.
Interesting…very interesting
Goes to prove that not everyone with money deserves it. LOL
That is over the top!
I know. Praying, too.
That IS very unique yard art, to be sure!
A bit too much for me…I wish the Northwest would get a good rain…
Well I have never seen anything like that.
14 – wow! Nice statues!
Nice share and nice snaps!
Have a Happy Weekend!
Peace 🙂
Hmmm… I guess they never heard the saying, “Less is more!”
Oh my goodness – Over the Top seems an understatement. 🙂 Incidentally, I just read that Michaelangelo’s villa in Florence is for sale for 8-mil pound or close to it, and it’s NOT over the top!!!
