I managed to put up a few Valentine Day decorations. I’m enjoying these fun little Valentine clothes pins. Josh and Laura bought us the sign for our 40th wedding anniversary.
I bought this plate at the thrift store and enjoyed the sentiment on it. The following Antique post cards are all from Dear’s great great Aunt’s stash.
We are going to work in the yard together this Valentines Day. The weather is cooperating and we need to go when the going is good. On Sunday early evening we’ll enjoy a meal out at a downtown Seattle Steakhouse. What are your plans with your Valentine?
How fun that someone has taken such good care of the Vintage Valentines. I like your steak house idea, but the big food item here will be John’s favorite…strawberry shortcake.
You and Mr. Happy Wonderer have a fun day, if yard work can be fun.
Happy Valentine’s Day to you, Ellen! I was the “guest” to our family Valentine’s party with homemade cake, strewn tinsels (! Yeah, the guest had quite the experience trying to clean those out), and chocolates. We were going to go to the Smithsonian – but it’s just too cold. The high today is like 25 degrees.
Sounds like you have quite the plan this weekend. Have fun.
Evidently working on the yard doesn’t involve shoveling snow. Lol The Valentines are wonderful! Love the two kitties. 🙂
Happy Valentine’s Day to you, Ellen!! I’m glad you have weather nice enough to work outside in. Our temperature here at the moment is 43 degrees, but we have a strong, BITTER cold wind blowing here in North Carolina. It’s supposed to get down to 13 tonight with a high of only 27 tomorrow and wind chill temps from the teens to below zero. Brrrr!
I love your header — you have such a handsome family. 🙂 Your meal plans sound perfect for tonight, and the vintage Valentine cards are darling. Thanks for sharing with us!
XO,
Denise
