Some of my favorite things in my yard this week! I count all of these as blessings from above.
Things that are springing up around here are among my favorites for
Friday’s Fave Five hosted by Susanne at Living to Tell the Story.
The Lenten Rose is my favorite plant that ushers in the Lenten Season.
These primroses appear every year and I didn’t plant them. I’m always happy to see them.
What fun to see these miniature daffodils springing up, too.
We managed to prune both our apple tree and pear tree this week and that was a huge accomplishment at this old house.
My bonus fave is my verse of the week from my abc Scripture Memory Cards…
The fact that we have been called and redeemed by God is pure love…
Have a wonderful Valentines Day and President’s Day Weekend.
Do you get Monday off? What were some of your favorites this week?
I told someone else how lovely it is to see live flowers on other people’s blogs. It will be a while here yet before we see any spring blooms but I am enjoying yours vicariously.
That verse is one of my favorites, one that has come back to me again and again over the years.
im sure your garden will be in full bloom soon and look so pretty.
thanks for your kinds words for my sister last week ans sorry I couldn’t make it around to your blog last week.
Happy Valentines!
p.s. I can’t seem to comment on your blog without linking to my FB account.

ah!! flowers as I sit and stare out the faculty lounge at piles of snow and a temp of 4 degrees F. that scripture is one of my faves!!! yes I not only have Monday off but the entire week as all the eastern NY schools enjoy Winter Break😄 happy Valentine’s Day!
Oh, wow…since I quit working outside the home, I don’t even know when holidays are anymore! President’s Day???!? Really??!? It seems like Christmas was just yesterday!
I’m so glad to see all the pretty thing poking their heads up for you! We won’t get any action like that around here until at least the latter part of March/first of April. It stays cold here pretty much into April.
Enjoy all the prettiness!!!!
Thanks so much for showing the spring flowers! I needed to see that.
Love the scripture art. Beautiful.
Lucky you ! no signs of spring here ! Still cold !
I DO GET Monday off and am looking forward to spending time with my grand daughter (and the adults too of course).
How awesome to be surrounded by flowers you have and haven’t planted. Such happy blessings. I’ve never heard of a Lenten Rose. It is sooooo pretty. I am going to Google it. My daffs didn’t come up this year. I have them in boxes and maybe I didn’t water them enough.
Pure and true love, it sure is! Wow, I can’t believe all the signs of spring you are having. We had another dusting of snow last night and though we’ve had record warmth this winter I’m sure we will still have a blast or too of old man winter before the season is done. I really should plant some spring bulbs just so I can have that nice greeness and color coming up early!
Already?!!!! I love the early signs of spring — we won’t be seeing them here for quite a few weeks yet.
The Professor taught today–the state university system did NOT get the day off. I hope you had a fun day…
Your signs of spring are lovely–I miss the crocuses and daffodils!
