…to show you this!
When it snows in the Seattle area it takes precedence over everything. Everyone talks about it. The newscasters can’t get enough mileage out of it.
I’ve been watching the younger kids throwing snow at each other already and the older kids adults with cars try to spin wheelies in it.
I won’t be going anywhere today. Katie and I are pretty beat from our round trip to Vancouver B.C. yesterday, anyway. I’ll share all about that on another day because…it SNOWED, and in Seattle when it snows that’s all we talk about!
Just a few more snow shots to share and then I’m going to head to the kitchen to make Lovella’s Cranberry Coconut Loaf.
I’m kicking myself because I didn’t fill the bird feeder before the snow.
For me the best place to be when it snows is inside looking out of my warm and cozy spot to see the wet cold snow.
Hope you have a wonderful Friday everyone. You know where you can find me.
I’m inside enjoying the outside views of our December snow!
How about you? Do you like to be out in the snow or do you become a recluse when it snows?

I’m glad you’re able to look out and enjoy the snow. We have it pretty regularly here in the Kansas City area between November and March, but I know it’s fun for those who don’t get it as often. I’m more of the “stay-inside-and-wish-it-all-away” type! 🙂
Beautiful pictures! You ALMOST make me like it! 🙂
Hi Ellen, I am such a bumpkin – I had thought it shows regularly in Seattle! Beautiful snow pictures. I don’t mind the snow as long as I am INSIDE!!! 🙂
Enjoy that Narnia magical snow! (From the cozy indoors, of course.)
Vee sent me your way after commenting on my post about snow! 😉
I too, live in Western Washington and I am loving the snow, so sad that it won’t be here for long though!
Blessings,
Nadine
I like going out for a walk in the snow AND I like watching it fall from inside a cozy house, preferably with a mug of hot chocolate at hand. It’s beautiful here, too (in Chilliwack visiting my parents).
Oh YEA!!!! I LOVE your snow pictures. I’m glad it didn’t interfere with your fun trip with Katie. I love how the snow is laying on the tree branches….so pretty. We are hoping to get a snow here tomorrow night. My puppy will be in heaven if its deep enough for her to take her head first dive in. She will jump, bury her entire head in a snow pile and wiggle around. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE snow. I usually get out IN any and all snow, I”m dealing with a physical issue this year that will probably keep me inside looking out, but I will still be HAPPY!!!!!
Thank you for sharing these beautiful photos … haven’t seen snow for over forty years :-(. Miss it so much!
Time to break out the hot chocolate! We could never hide when snow comes around here or we’d be hiding for months. But no matter the amount, I do love the snow.
Enjoy the snow, Ellen! We have snow and been in a ‘deep freeze’ for some time already but it still is all we talk about:) The weather topic seems to stay popular. And apparently winter only starts tomorrow..tell that to anyone around here:)
Oh – it looks so pretty! I love a crisp sunny and snowy day for a brisk walk and I also enjoy looking at it from inside a cozy living room. All of our pretty white stuff is getting rained on right now – we’re just hoping the ice storm forecasts are wrong! Enjoy the snow.
You know me…I’m in the snow…and I can tell that you are truly enjoying the moments prior to it turning liquid. I love it. “Let it snow, let it snow”
Quiet and serene photos. Now, do you appreciate snow a bit more? They make good photographic subjects. 😉
We are all quite tickled pink!
