Great is Thy Faithfulness

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;
As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.

Refrain

Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Refrain

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!

Refrain

Words: Thomas O. Chisholm, 1923.

  1. That’s a beautiful photo of your parents on your daughter’s wedding day. Their smiles say it all. Though I’ve never met them, I know through your writing that they have always been people of faith, against many odds. They are rich in everything that matters. What a legacy to leave their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

  2. That is a lovely photo… My thoughts and prayers are with you and YES, great is the the faithfulness of our God !!!

  3. This is our temporary home, but oh my, how our hearts are knit together with loved ones. Giving thanks for His faithfulness in your family, rejoicing in His goodness all the time….may His comfort be sweet to all.
