…and they will come!
On Monday night we gathered around the table to enjoy our visitors from California. We had stuffed cabbage that we call Goluptsi. You can see the recipe here. We had a wonderful salad with lots of goodies chopped in it and dressed with our favorite Persian Dressing.
Thursday the MGCC girls are being interviewed by Suzanne Woods Fisher at 2:00 PST and 5:00 EST on her Amish Wisdom show. You can listen in on a live feed here.
I’m linking up with Kathleen at Cuisine Kathleen for her weekly Let’s Dish Linky Party!
I love your tablescape…looks like we chose the same color combination this week!
As always…a lovely table!
Love the pretty table. The ribbons around the flower pots makes them look extra special. Pretty pretty blooms. xo marlis
I love the plum color in this setting – so pretty and the flowers make me realize that spring is just around the corner
Oh Five EST. I’m going to try to listen to that one. Such a beautiful nod to spring AND February.
Cute table!!! Love the green and violet color combination. I’m liking that paisley runner!
Very pretty table set for a wonderful time with family and friends. I have always loved paisley, the rest of my family looks at me with a raised eyebrow but I am continually drawn to it.
Lovely table! I love your title. So cute! Looks like a nice gathering.
So pretty Ellen!!! I could almost hear my mother saying those very words – “set the table” as she summoned us to do so! I will for sure be tuning in to your show tomorrow – and whispering a prayer or two so it all goes well! Have fun!
A green and purple combination has always spoken to me – it was my obsession, when I was in junior high school! What a pretty table and I adore the ribbon around the flower pots – such a gorgeous addition to the tablescape.
You always set such a beautiful table. I’d love to take a tour of your china cupboards someday. You’ve got such a variety!
What a beautiful table, Ellen…green and purple were made for each other. Golubtsy is one of our favorites…and by the looks of your guests, I would say that it is one of their favorites, too.
As always…a beautiful celebration!
Oh, pooh! It’s already 8:00 CST here, so I missed the broadcast!!! I would have loved to have heard it!!! Rats! You set a WHALE of a table here, young lady!!! The colors are just gorgeous, and I love the repetition of the pots of flowers down the center. That is always so pleasing to the eye!!! I’m glad you and your guests enjoyed both the meal and the thoughtful decor!
I was posting a comment on the post above – much food for thought there and now saw your lovely table with the Primroses!!! Have great family time!
Love, love, love – especially that table runner.
So pretty, Ellen. That green runner and all of that pretty purple glassware, etc. look so pretty together. Love the centerpiece of blooming flowerpots down the table. laurie
Love, love, love the little potted plants down the center. Your family has so many wonderful gatherings!
