Christmas Past…

I’ve decided to share some snap shots of Christmas past and join in with Vee’s December Notecard Party

Christmas dessert from 2009

December night in Seattle with the Space Needle through the boat masts at Elliott Bay Marina 2009. We were celebrating Katie’s completion of her degree along with her birthday.

This year Katie is turning 27 on the 27th of December. I guess we’ll have to do something special to celebrate this magic birthday!

Every day Christmas table from several years back. Things have changed in this room.

Thanks Vee, for letting me join in late. Today I’m trying to talk myself into wrapping some gifts. I’m also thinking I should choose some cookie recipes to bake. It’s raining steadily here in the Seattle area. How are things in your part of the world?

About Ellen am a wife, mother, baba (grandmother) and a loyal friend. Jesus is my King and my hope is in my future with Him.

  1. Katie is so pretty. Twenty-seven on the 27th sounds like a very special day indeed and I know that her mama is going to make it one to remember.

Lovely photos all…I am curious about the dessert. The Space Needle through the boat masts is iconic Seattle I would imagine. The holiday table looks so fine.

Weather here? Rather gray. Did you hear today that from now on winter storms will be named? I find that odd…

Back to Grand Central… (I’m trying to talk myself into wrapping, too.)

  2. Happy Birthday to Katie! I’m sure you guys will celebrate in style! You always eat at the most interesting places!!! The weather here has turned bone-rattling cold. The winds are gusty and make it feel like it’s below zero. We got ice and snow overnight, and the streets are treacherous to maneuver now. I had to get out and about a bit this afternoon, but I am IN for the rest of the weekend!!!!!!
