I’ve never had one since high school and I can still crave that taste…

Thinking of our kids, remembering high school (not missing it mind you, except for that soft tostada), and still enjoying the Olympics in London on T.V. and starting to make some plans to return hopefully in 2013, Lord willing. Tomorrow I’ll be watching the U.S.A. ~ Canada women’s soccer semi-final.
If God puts him on your mind please pray for our son Josh as he is directing junior highers at Lakeside Bible Camp. We’re praying for an accident free week with kids finding peace with God.
It is the hottest day this year in the Seattle area and I’m headed to Century-Link Stadium to watch the Seattle Sounders play L.A. Galaxy. I wonder if Beckham is back from London to play with his L.A. team tonight? I hope I don’t melt. I’m waiting for someone to say, “I thought you were going to take a bloggy break?” That still might happen…

Do they even make that kind of tennis shoes anymore??? I LOVED those things! I was still buying them right up to about 10 years ago when I couldn’t find them anymore around the Kansas City, MO area!!! 🙂 I remember those hairstyles and those uniforms and wearing our socks all folded down like that…really takes me back! Fun!!!
Love this post….laughing at how huge the pom poms were….and some of the hair. You are gorgeous! Ahhh, go with the flow with your blog, break or no. London was actually the one large city in Europe that I didn’t really like. It was pretty dirty when we were there…our girls said the same thing when they were there in 2001. But I would love to go back overseas. So many fun adventures awaiting you! Praying God’s protection on the campers (and staff) and sweet visitations of God’s presence for each of them personally.
