When we were in Fresno at the MCC sale I bought a baggie of raisins that a local farmer donated for the sale.
The raisins on the left are from a box that I bought at the grocery store. The raisins on the right are the ones I bought in Fresno.
Not only are they big but they are so tasty!
Today we are going to attend a wedding on Whidbey Island with many dear friends. Our son and daughter in law are in the wedding. We are looking forward to a joy filled celebration.
Great! Now I’ll never have another raisin without feeling cheated. =D That really is an incredible difference.
My bag of big raisins is going fast! I think I’ll be stopping in Fresno for raisins next time head south.
When we go to Palm Springs, we always buy a big bag of raisins to take home. I keep them in the freezer and they don’t go sugary at all. They are so good in Plumimoos.
My favorite MCC sale purchase was a big hunk of Lye laundry soap. It has taken out set in grease stains. It’s sounds like a wonderful weekend!
Before I even saw the comparison picture, I thought, “Man, those raisins are HUGE!” Have a fun weekend.
What a contrast – those are serious raisins!
Enjoy your day on Whitby Island! It’s a beautiful place. Yes the local produce is always better!
Hmmmm… I wonder if they are also call the Thompson raisins. They are huge too, but so plump and tasty.
