Today is another walking day for me. I walked on Friday with some new friends on the trail. Today I meet up with another of my former walking buddies and my sister to continue the quest of walking and keeping our joints from freezing up on us. Do you walk? It’s one of my favorite forms of exercise when I have a friend to walk with…
We had a sailboat when I was growing up. I learned I liked quiet forms of travel. In high school I got to take a ride in a glider while in Colorado. It was amazing soaring like a bird next to the mountains. I wish I liked walking better. I think I’m going to buy some walking sticks, they say they help increase the cardio workout and somehow take some pressure off your legs. We’ll see. Happy trails!
We used walking sticks in England and they were very helpful especially going downhill!
I love to walk too – it’s the perfect exercise for me, and if I want to push it up a bit I wear hand weights and get my arms moving as I walk.
