…to the freshly made apple fritters!
On the way to our Emerald Isle adventure we decided to stop for breakfast at Yana’s Restaurant on Front Street in Swansboro.

The apple fritters were dusted smothered with powdered sugar. It was great to bite into the sweetness straight to a great slice of fresh apple.

This was very much a 50’s diner and we were surrounded by Marilyn and Elvis.

Loved this sign. You definitely can trust me because I’m far from skinny.

After breakfast we continued on to our sea and sand adventure on the Emerald Isle. I’ll share more later along with our stop at the Aquarium, Beaufort, and Fort Macon.
Glory, I might have had a massive SHIVER over all that sweetness….just looking at it I could imagine. You’ve certainly packed in a lot of adventures during your stay back east.
Oh I’d love one for breakfast. I’ve only had a horrible chewy chocolate chip cookie from C*hips A*hoy…blick.
What a quaint-looking community Swansboro is.
The picture of those apple fritters should have come with a warning ‘Looking at this photo may cause widening of hips’!
Ohhh man, those look Ah-may-zinn! You guys go to the neatest restaurants:-)
I’ve already had breakfast…but sure wouldn’t mind one of those apple fritters for dessert! Keep enjoying your adventure.
I’ve been reading along of your adventures in NC. So exciting to see how God has His hand in so many details of allowing Katie to set up her new home. And Happy Anniversary to you and Dear! 37 years is worthy of great celebration. I have to always make sure that my tummy is full before I read your blog, or I find myself in the kitchen searching for things like apple fritters and the like!
Wow! That looks yummy! Been enjoying reading about your adventures there! Such fun!

Oh my ..I gained a couple of pounds just looking at this photo, but I know I would have loved trying this!
Girl friend….I love your style! That dessert looks so yummy…and you make me laugh!
