…now I’m just wondering where we’ll be going out for dinner. Road trips have a way of making you dependent on someone else to feed you!
This photo is one view of the Astoria-Megler Bridge connecting Washington State and Oregon over the Columbia River.
I remember the bridge! It’s good to have you back home…safe and sound. Does your lawn need mowing?
Judy, the lawn doesn’t need mowing yet but the weeds will need it in a couple days…LOL!
There’s no place like HOME!!
The tide was out–and it’s so noticeable because you cross the Columbia right at the mouth of the river. It’s a beautiful spot, but I still don’t like crossing on that bridge. π
Boy ..you are not kidding. I actually was relieved when my first stop off the last flight was at a restaraunt!
Beautiful shot.
We did a lot of eating out and going to bakeries and such. Now I need to wean myself away from all of the carbs. Lol!
We had dinner last summer, in view of that bridge. I love Astoria and the surrounding area on both sides of the river.
I really enjoy going through Astoria when we travel to the Oregon Coast. It’s always been very blustery when we’ve gone there…very dramatic. That bridge is dramatic too! Don’t you find sometimes when you’ve been dining out night after night, that nothing sounds good to eat?
Sounds like your trip was very nice..and I know what you mean about getting back to the routine of cooking vs eating out!
