Please pray for Andrew, our son in law in the Marines. If you have someone in the military I could pray for let me know in your comment. Thank you…
I’d also like to wish our Canadian neighbors a wonderful long weekend celebrating Victoria Day.
Photobucket replaced all my photos with blurred out versions and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. I’m slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.
I’ll be praying for your Andrew and for Katie. (They also serve who only stand and wait.) There’s always my Army Chaplain who is away right now and his wife who is standing and waiting and my Marine son-in-law.
Thank you for the holiday wishes, Ellen. Of course it’s raining here – it’s a long weekend!
We need to remember all our military members – for me it’s my BIL and my DIL and my brother.
I like what Willow said about “they also serve who stand and wait.” That is so true … May God protect him and keep your hearts at peace in Him.
Will do so..May God shelter them under the protection of His wings,, Psalm 91 and Psalm 27
The girls have both been to D.C. before but they both commented last night that it just makes you feel SO patriotic being in that town. I had a cousin that I didn’t know who was in the Army until he retired. We have two engineer friends who are working in Afghanistan. I hate to hear of bombings over there. I can’t imagine the life of the military families…coping with so much unknown, maintaining life at home. Prayers lifted with thanks for their service.
Every day they all get our prayers.
SLC is having several Armed Forces Day events. It is that kind of town!
My friend, Karen, has a son David who is dealing with so many medical issues after his return. Please pray for David and his wife as she tries to help him. Thanks!
Thank you for your kind wishes for this long weekend in Canada. As for Andrew, I do pray that God is with him every step of the way.
Is it a long weekend for you too? I’m enjoying your two very clear and crisp photos.
Thinking of Andrew…and praying that God keeps him safe while he’s away. And for Katie at home…and all those others who ‘stand and wait’.
