The last stop on our Victoria tour with Pondside was Hatley Castle. I can imagine how beautiful this location would be for a wedding when everything is blooming.
I really do thank God for many wonderful people I’ve met through blogging and blossoming friendships that continue. Pondside is one of those people who I thank God for bringing into my life.
The 4 Bagdanov sisters together at a castle in a foreign country…how great is that!?
Even though everything was 2 weeks behind in blooming this year the Peacocks came out in all their glory to treat us to some beautiful color and grandeur!
This post is my finale to our Sister Weekend in Victoria, B.C.
Photobucket replaced all my photos with blurred out versions and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. I’m slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.
Oh my goodness Ellen!! The grounds are BARE!!! You must go back when they’re in full bloom and you can see how lovely everything is. I’ll be headed back there within the next 4 months ;-))))))). Oh Happy Day!!!!

Oh, wow, such beauty and things are not yet in bloom! I absolutely LOVED the photos of the peacocks!
I LOVE peacock’s….bet that is one gorgeous place now. So, so cool that you girls could get together.
So nice for sisters to be able to enjoy one another like this. I particularly love that garden; and the statues.
Wonderful. I haven’t made it to this castle on my visits to Victoria…guess I’ll have to go back again…heh heh…oh darn. 🙂
Beautiful. I love the rows of daffodil-filled urns.
Are you hinting that you and your sisters may be Russian royalty?
The peacock did a great job filling in for missing flowers. So happy for you to have had such a memorable sister time.
How absolutely grand Ellen. I say let’s go back for a field trip to promote the book . ..when the flowers are blooming.
I’m smiling at the image of the four sisters meeting up with Pondside at a castle in a foreign country. It sounds like you were somewhere far away and exotic…and here you met in my backyard. I never think of castles in Canada! But…yes, we do have some. And I see you found a lovely one…that I would love to visit in the summertime.
It’s easy to see you all had a wonderful time, and you certainly saw a lot in one weekend. How fun to spend time like that with your sisters, and also to meet a blogger friend in person.
I would love to visit this castle! It looks amazing! And I think it is wonderful that you have three sisters. I would love to have the same. . .always envious (in a good way) of my friends who have so many sisters. It looks like you had a lovely time on your trip.
What a stunning setting, Ellen. Lovely that you and your sisters got to enjoy it in all its elegance. Love that shot of the young woman statue in the garden.
I noticed on your sidebar the Hatley Castle…I love castles, just as much as Celtic images and am in awe when I see a castle…to just imagine how they were built back then…
How neat that you were able to travel and visit the beautiful scenery with your sisters and also Pondside! Beautiful, beautiful photos!
Blessings & Aloha!
