I’m going to try to participate in Jenny Matlock’s Alphabe-Thursday this time around. The meme is at the beginning again with the letter A.
A is for Apple Blossoms
Since this is just about Maundy Thursday during Holy Week I’ll tell the truth that these Apple Blossom photos are from last year. My apple tree is behind like everything else this year and is just starting to bud nicely. I’m looking forward to what will come my way in the form of B for next week. Until then Have a wonderful Easter weekend everyone. We’ll be busy around this old house with Good Friday, then Easter baking on Saturday and having a grand Resurrection celebration on Sunday!
Photobucket replaced all my photos with these blurred out versions and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. I’m slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.
so pretty! i like your post. thanks for sharing!
oh, who cares when the picture was taken it will make me smile any day!
These are just beautiful. I loved getting to see them up close.
Everything is late here, too, Ellen!
A very blessed Easter to you and yours, blessings!
I filled 90 eggs for the hunt on Sunday today, and the baking and cooking starts Friday!
Oh those apple blossoms are pretty. I walked my yard today and then looked at pictures from last year……we are behind here too. Blessings to you and your family during the Easter weekend.
Beautiful apple blossoms! Have a Blessed Easter as well!
The photos are lovely. We’re in western NC and they are blooming and we hope we don’t get a freaky freeze…lol….Happy Easter.
Last year or not, they are very beautiful!
Those are the loveliest photos! They remind me of my childhood on my grandfather’s farm. Thank you sooooo much!
Our Apple blossoms are still tucked in tight.
Happy Easter Ellen!
Beautiful apple blossoms. Well done!
Happy Easter to you!
Let me guess …Bees? They do love apple blossoms don’t they . I can almost smell spring already with those pretty blossoms
Very pretty!
I love apple blossom. The tree in my garden is just coming into full bloom. It looks especially beautiful in the early evening, when the lowering sunlight catches it. Your photos are lovely!
Great ‘A’ post & great photos!
Have a great weekend ahead & look forward to *seeing* you again next time,
LOLA:)
those photos are fantastic! So pretty!
Enjoy your weekend. {:-Deb
It doesn’t matter that these blossoms aren’t this years. They are just lovely. I read that the strawberries are two weeks behind this season because of the weather. Several late freezes delayed things. I had wondered why they were still so expensive.
By this way. I made Lovella’s paska on Monday and the loaves are in the freezer. I tried it last year and the dough was so sticky that I had to try again this year and see if I could improve on my sticky-ness. Then I ran out of flour!…..as I kneaded it!
lovely shots here. love apple blossoms and love taking photos of them, plus all the other varieties of sakuras and cherry blossoms – they’re too beautiful not to photograph.
have a sweet day.
Beautiful blossoms!

I grew up on a farm with an apple orchard. Those photos bring back some lovely memories…

beautiful Apple Blossom.
🙂
Oh my…apple blossoms! I love the sculptural branches and the bridal feeling of the blossoms and how you can make it snow with petal when you gently shake the tree.
This was an absolutely lovely stop today.
Thank you for linking.
I am enchanted.
