It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.
~Charles Dickens
That really describes Wednesday. It was extreme in contrasts. We will see what Thursday holds for us.
I need to get a smog check on one of our cars and I hope to get some laundry done now that the washer and dryer is in it’s new location and all hooked up and vented. What does your day hold?
Photobucket replaced all my photos with ugly black and grey boxes and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. Iām slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.
A hint of your hubby’s latest project…washer and dryer moved????? The picture is gorgeous. I don’t think I have EVER been so anxious for Spring to come. I need to get off the computer and go make a double batch of scones. A women’s ministry leadership retreat asked me to provide them some scones for their breakfasts for the next two days. Chocolate chip and Cranberry/orange….it’s going to smell good around here. Then I”m off to the city to take my mother in law to the Cardiologists…then errands for her and maybe meet up with family for dinner in the city. Hope your day is grand Ellen~
Off to work for me, for a few hours, than some doctor’s appointments with The Great Dane and then back to work for the evening at a halfway house. This is going to be a long day!
Good morning, Ellen. Got a late start this morning. Laundry is on my list too! š
Love that Dickens quote – how true.
We’ve actually got a lovely day forecast for today but it will be snowing by the weekend again. The weather has been very weird this year.
Me? Walking, cooking, shopping…this and that. I’m looking forward to whatever it may hold.
I’m loving your daffodil pic’s!
Such bright and cheery daffodils in your last 3 posts! It’s getting to be that time when the flowers will be popping with color.
One from March baby to another… dontcha just LOVE daffodils? š
Awesome quote. And awesome photo. So the gas connection was for the dryer… I too will be happy to do laundry after four days without access to ours again.
sounds like the days this week! gotta love the SUN though!
