Today’s the Day!

It’s another sunny beautiful day in Western Washington. We’re getting ready to go on our first ever wedding dress shopping excursion with Katie. The appointment is made and the anticipation is running high. It will be fun to step into this new world and try to keep our senses about us. If we “Say Yes to the Dress” you won’t be seeing it here but I will try to get some shots of the experience without revealing too much.

I did manage to make it to a Pumpkin Patch close by. The photo is from the patch. I’ll be posting more next week.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Photobucket replaced all my photos with ugly black and grey boxes and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. Iā€™m slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.

About Ellen am a wife, mother, baba (grandmother) and a loyal friend. Jesus is my King and my hope is in my future with Him.

  1. Oh how absolutely wonderful. I’ve been privileged to be invited along several times with my dils and my niece. Not having a daughter. . .I never expected such invitation . ..but boy ..was it ever fun.

  2. How exciting! My very good friend who’s daughter is getting married in April went on her first dress shopping expedition two weeks ago…and they found THE dress the that day! May you be equally blessed.

  3. How fun! We did a bridal shower last year where we took Macro shots of things you really couldn’t tell exactly what they were but we posted them on our Facebook pages as little teasers….the bride loved it.

  4. Can’t wait to hear how the day has gone! This is so special to be included in even a little way! Happy Day to you and Katie!! And, everyone else who gets to be watching! šŸ™‚

  5. Isn’t that “Yes to the Dress” show wild? We watch it and alternately gasp and laugh. Your experience will be a fun one, I’m sure. I hope you find ‘the’ dress, but if you don’t it will just mean another fun outing or two.

  6. How I wish many of your blogger and FB friends could be flies on a wall šŸ˜€ Can’t wait to see maybe the ones she DiDn’T chose!!
    Oh Happy Day….

  7. I remembering the experience of wedding-dress-shopping with my daughter…and it was a very fun and memorable time. I’m sure you had a fabulous day…and we’ll wait for the report!
