Pick a song you like, and give us your photographic interpretation of all or part of that song’s lyrics. You can either include the relevant section of the lyrics or, for a really well-known song, ask people to guess what you’re illustrating. Turn, Turn, Turn
Words-adapted from The Bible, book of Ecclesiastes
Music-Pete Seeger
To Everything (Turn, Turn, Turn)
There is a season (Turn, Turn, Turn)
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven
A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep
To Everything (Turn, Turn, Turn)
There is a season (Turn, Turn, Turn)
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven
A time to build up,a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones, a time to gather stones together
To Everything (Turn, Turn, Turn)
There is a season (Turn, Turn, Turn)
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven
A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace, a time to refrain from embracing
To Everything (Turn, Turn, Turn)
There is a season (Turn, Turn, Turn)
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven
A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time for love, a time for hate
A time for peace, I swear it’s not too late
Photobucket replaced all my photos with ugly black and grey boxes and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. Iām slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.
Well done….
I love that song—almost used it myself for this challenge. You did a great job depicting life’s cycle.
That was beautiful, and so well illustrated.

a poignant song – having lost another of our British soldiers this weekend – one wonders when the turning is going to come – in time. wonderful pictures – I have never yet managed a spiderweb.
Wonderful! Great song, and lots of great images to go with the words.
Awesome job of illustrating…both the “song” and the verses…
Wonderful. Just wonderful. And yes…a time for peace is a daily request.
