I went out to my apple tree and picked a few apples…
Then I tweaked a few apple crisp recipes and I’m happy with the result.
Photobucket replaced all my photos with ugly black and grey boxes and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. I’m slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.
Mmmm! Apple crisp with your very own freshly-picked apples! What a treat!
How fun to make it from something growing in your own yard. I tweaked a recipe myself for a Tomato/Mushroom Savory tart from MY OWN TOMATOES….it’s been a long time since we’ve grown stuff ourselves….SO FUN! I’ll have to go look at the recipe. Hope you have a grand day Ellen!
I love apple crisp…and having freshly picked apples from your own tree is the best!
Mmmm mmm good. Looks delish. No worms crawling around in there huh? LOL. Great photos. 🙂
Yum….nothing better in the apple realm!!
I’ll be passing by today…and I’ll wave! I may go thru the big city but back the other way when coming home. The car is packed to the gills!
Looks delicious, Ellen! Beautiful pictures on MGGC too!
Oh gosh! I’ll be right over (do you like how I am inviting myself to eat up your beautiful apple crisp?)….made with apples from your very own tree…very special.
Now I just need some of Jeanie and Jim’s apples.
That looks absolutely yummy – and how special that is to be able to make it with your OWN apples.
