When we were at Descanso Gardens on Saturday I told Melissa, Michelle and Katie that I had a photo of them with their cousin Timothy at Descanso Gardens from 1988. I thought I kind of knew the backdrop of the photo. We found the spot and they posed for a photo 22 years later. We were with Timothy earlier that day and told him he was going to miss out on the new photo op! What a blessing that these cousins still enjoy being around each other!!
Photobucket replaced all my photos with ugly black and grey boxes and they are holding my photos hostage until I pay them lots of money. I’m slowly going through all my posts and trying to clean them up and replacing some photos. Such a bother.
Who is whom in that first picture, Ellen?! I should dearly like to know… 🙂
You know what? I had a senior moment today. I kept thinking that it’s Thursday today, and kept checking your blog because your latest posts were “stuck” on Wednesday…. I thought something had happened to you. Then I realized, it’s Wednesday!! Your blog gives me such a sense of constancy. In case you haven’t notice, I am addicted to your blog! 😉
Top photo Michelle then Katie then Timothy and Melissa
Bottom photo Melissa, Michelle and Katie.
Melissa and Michelle are sisters. They are my oldest sisters (Kathy’s) girls.
Timothy now has 3 younger brothers. Timothy is my brother Steve’s oldest son.
The top photo was taken in early April of 1988.
How fun is that! So sorry Timothy couldn’t make the photo shoot. I know guys really love posing among the flowers! Smile.
Thanks for showing who is whom! From the old and present pictures, I could kind of guess Michelle. But I couldn’t quite guess with the other two girls. Katie looks soooooo cute in that old picture. 🙂
Isn’t that fun…and how they have changed. You know how to bring live to those old photos.
Thanks for explaining the who’s who in the photos. Love it and how wonderful to take a picture like that. So enjoyable 🙂
Cute as a button – I picked out Katie in the first picture 🙂 My Sarah is very close to her girl cousins too. They’re like sisters.
awwww totally cute! i love seeing pictures like this!
Cousins that are friends for life is so awesome! Having cousins is something I missed out on growing up as they were all in Hungary and I was here in Canada.
Love the scenery of the gardens.
Grew up gorgeous they did…
This is such a fun photo. Time just zipps by so fast!
